Hey everyone! I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I’ve shared something new on the blog! I’ve been wanting to share Kelsey + Ryan’s Newport wedding for quite some time now.. and I’ve finally come out from under all of my W-editing for the year so here you go!
Kelsey + Ryan had the most amazing day in Newport, the day was warm and sunny and the sunset over the harbor was almost as gorgeous as the bride! We started the day with some portraits at the Viking Hotel, met up with Ryan out front so they could share a quiet moment together before the ceremony at Kay Chapel and then we had loads of time for portraits around Bowen’s Wharf before their reception at The Landing. They were so amazing in front of the camera all day and were super excited when I suggested we stop for a beer and some photos at The Wharf Pub, my kind of couple ;-). Best wishes to Kelsey + Ryan and their journey together! Enjoy!
The Holiday spirit has officially crept in and made me feel all generous and cheery! For the rest of the month all new weddings booked will receive an additional hour of photography coverage! Get a head start on wedding planning over the Holidays before it’s too late and I’m all booked up!
A couple of weeks ago we got a little taste of Summer in Fall for Lynn + Dan’s engagement photos at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, RI. It was a wonderful time spent with them in a very special place, the photo below was taken in the exact spot where Dan proposed! Lynn just looked so damn cool in her red lace and I can’t wait to see her on her wedding day. Here are some favorites from the day, enjoy!
I never got to go to camp when I was a kid so I was crossing my fingers and toes when I heard about Jenny and David’s wedding plans at Camp Wing in Duxbury, MA. I definitely did a happy dance when they asked me to capture their big day and another happy dance when I was invited to spend a night in a log cabin! I feel so lucky to have been apart of the celebration of two people and their families, who had known eachother most of their lives, finally merging together. Jenny and David, I’m happy to call you friends and I wish you both the best on your journey.
A couple of weeks ago I got to spend a sunny afternoon with Kate + Chris to showcase their love for eachother, music, teenage mutant ninja turtles and pokemon. As a self proclaimed geek, I feel so lucky to have found these two and I’m counting the days until their Rustic, Enchanted Forest wedding in May!
